This is the dyno run of my 2000 toyota 4runner.

It has the stock 5vzfe 3.4l V6 in it with a 1st gen TRD supercharger installed. I also have Doug Thorley Headers, URD 7th injector kit, high-flow cat and a few other goodies.

These runs were done with the 2.2 and then stock pulley. I ended up finding that my belt was slipping or for some other reason i am not getting any extra boost with the 2.2 vs stock. I ended up making the same power with both due to the same boost (about 6psi).

Final power outcome was 225hp and a tourqe "curve" that was FLAT, you could put a ruler on it, i will update with the dyno sheet as soon as i get it.

Remember though, tune needs a little work and the stock airbox with ISR intact and a dirty air filter (didn't even think about the filter until i was on the dyno). The supercharger also needs new roots (the ones in it have 75k+ miles on them) It was also heat soaked BAD, every run we did, had less power except for when we let it sit for a little bit.

Without all of that i am sure I am putting down at least 230hp - 240hp at the wheels.

Then get the 2.2 pulley to work and provide the 9.5psi of boost it should and i should be in the 260 - 275hp range.

Plan to get it re-dynoed after fixing said problems.

  • Your discription looks as alot of ricer excuses. lol just kidding. toyota is great

  • @loadedlover12 LOL, well i actually found one of the biggest problems a few months ago, the bypass valve is leaking, causing a loss of around ~2psi of boost, which is worth around 20hp alone

  • My 4runner gets 15mpg @100% city...other than that its a great SUV.

  • @OrangeChickenist Odd, i generally get high teens in pure city driving and low 20's on the highway even with the supercharger.

  • @TexasAceAA

I guess I have a heavy foot. My parent's owned it for 7 years without doing any maintenance except changing the oil. Plus it got 40k miles...

  • @OrangeChickenist I have a very heavy foot, i beat the living heck out of mine.

And mine has 140k miles on it.

  • @Mr4runnerz Hey, any 4runner is better then a jeep, so good choice either way.
