VRG Visit to NJ Motorsports Park in April '08 including a VERY SLOW lap around the Lightning Circuit.
You can turn the sound down...there's nothing interesting to listen to.
The two race tracks on site will open in Summer '08. There will also be a kart track, an oval and off-road course.
Taken from the back seat of Eddie's Cadillac.
We took a slow (6 minute) lap of the new "Lightning" track.
You can see the bridge supports for a road going over the track at about 4 minutes into the video.
There are also piles of tire walls sitting on the track in several areas. They will be moved to the run-off areas soon.
A sweeping turn (with sound-reducing walls) can be seen at around 5.5 minutes into the video.
At the end, we exited off the course rougly at the same point we entered but we turned left (onto a service road): this is not the normal exit point.
Sorry about the bumpy camera-work. I was hand-holding out the window, from the back seat of the car.

  • that is your oppinion, everyone has oppinions in this world, i'm not gonna go into a drama troll battle, becasue i am not an idiot, all responses will be ignored.

  • i imagine the wind batting at you on the track was probley the result of the shaky camera work.

  • they are called taillights, he either forgot to turn his headlights off, or had his brakes on slightly

  • i can't wait to see ARCA races there, NASCAR won't hold races there, so don't count on it, NASCAR's agenda for the top 3 series' are "more money you throw at us, the more we will drop a date from a legendary track like darlingon or rockingham to join you"

Rockingham is back with ARCA under ownership of former ARCA Driver, Andy Hillenburg, Indiana Native, good job andy, bring the rock back to the fame it once had.

  • I can't wait!... i wonder if i can take my own car, or rent a cart for a day and do some laps on it! :)

  • the guy in front of you was pissing me off the whole video, it was like he was riding his breaks the whole way

  • See you in Millville. Can't wait!!
