  • Is the two handed backhand personal preference? Or is is a necessary shot? Is it THAT much more powerful since u are only guiding with your dom hand anyway? Is it more accurate? I haven't had that experience. I find the one hand allows more range of motion and takes less time to set up To me it feels awkward using the two handed. I'm not down on it, I just don't understand it's use

  • @AgitoTsukino You likely made the all too common mistake of using your dominant arm to power the stroke. To generate power, you need to use the weak arm along with your hip turn to drive the ball. Your strong arm stabilizes the stroke. You'll be able to hit more effectively when you turn your front shoulder to setup your stroke, dip the racquet slightly, make contact where your racquet face is parallel to the net, and finish over the shoulder. Easier said than done, but worth it. Good luck.

  • @r2Delta7 You can play a C-C 2HBH setup. Apparently Borg and Agassi played with setups similar to that. Just keep in mind that this requires you to hit more out in front and you might have trouble distributing the power between the hands. Likely you'd have both hands providing equal power and probably have a more compact takeback ala Agassi.

  • thanks... i needed that!

  • i use continental on the lower hand, and western on the upper hand i think its a pretty decent combination

  • i use eastern on top i dont see how using semi w or continental is better cos eastern has a much wide range with it.

  • first time i've seen anyone use eastern for the top hand. i tried it and it really helps with power and flattening shots, but not as much spin as if u hold semi-western for the top though.

  • good video

can u use a contental grip for your lefthand and still have a contental for your right

  • Well if you really want to be anal about this, speak eloquently and avoid using simple sentences... asshole

  • good tips
