I have a copy of the book in the shop window at the start - Terror By Night. I grabbed it and showed my 15 year old daughter and she was not the least bit impressed..... kids today :(

Great film, remember the zombie/ghoul village being scary as hell when a kid.

The opening scene is the best part of this movie, and is wonderfully written. Vincent is the most polite vampire ever! And gotta love John's calm reaction to it all.
But look at poor John's hands at 02:16
He suffered from crippling arthritis, but he still kept on going. A dedicated actor, indeed.
