Some comments are off base. (Opinion, of course.) The music produced by this band is shaped by genius. The album versions of their songs are so fantastic. These simplified live versions (where, admittedly, it's pretty impressive to have an acoustic guitar and a 5 gallon water jug to play on when you're normally an electric band) are a display of their real yet simple skill. Dave has a humble voice. He has a monstrous fan base, so it really doesn't matter how he sounds anymore. Pure talent.
