@phillybass101 so it may not flow the entire way... he obviously likes tribal tech but who among us isn't influenced by our heroes. we all find our own musical voice in our own time. granted some sooner than others. im just saying i wish we as a bass community would spend more time lifting each other up, instead of ripping on each other. hell, we all need practice.

chops mean nothing if you can't keep time. if you can't keep time you'll be right here on youtube with a drum machine by yourself. My man has chops, and technique but fails to establish a groove witihin his solo or phrasing. My teacher would tell me to go back and practice with a metronome.
