iMac Problems/error

Brand new iMac has weird problems. Anyone seen this before?

*UPDATE*
I've since had this problem fixed.
The iMac was in 'verbose mode' and a simple execution of code in the terminal changed start-up back to graphical.

My mac just kept on shutting off for no reason. I mean from day one it would just shut down within 10 minutes of turning it on, so i just built a custom pc with vista. Its fucking awesome.

mmm, yeah Vista has come a long way! I used to have a home made gaming pc. I got the 8800GTX quite near to release back when it costed ridiculous amounts and I got vista on day of release :) Still prefer OSX but it's nice that I have an alternative sometimes.

You may just have a corrupted OS, Reinstall could stop the problem, but i can't be sure, its not the computers hardware though.

I'm in the process of finally returning it. I've tried an OS install and several diagnostic tests. I think it's just a debugging issue rather than anything problematic.

The scolling text is just verbose mode, so you can see whats it doing in the background when is booting
