  • No more declaring war on nouns!

  • Maybe part of what Obama admires in Lincoln was his dictatorial abillity.

  • Ratifying the Constitution did away with the 'right' of secession. Vidal is a fool but Lincoln was the greatest man of his age.

  • excellent counter point. but did mexicans fight the north on the side of the south during the civil war?

  • @SJamesGray Stop watching Faux News, it rots your brain.

  • @Rico8458 Wow, where are you getting your history? Faux News? Mexico was against slavery and had already outlawed it by the time of the civil war. France was pro-slavery and was trying to take over Mexico so they could use it as a base to join the south in their war against the north. When the french lost the battle of Puebla in Mexico, they gave up on that effort and went home. This is why Americans celebrate Cinco De Mayo, because Mexico helped keep us from becoming a slavery state.

  • i was born in new york city and i hate Lincoln. he had no right to stop the south from leaving. each state is free to stay or leave, each man is free to go and come. mexicans fought on the side of the south and puerto ricans on the side of the north. the greatest losers were the indians and buffalo soldiers after winning war the north then turned on the poor indians and wiped them out. thanks Lincoln.

  • Both

  • I think you mean bush.

  • hahah, enjoy!

  • Oh good, something unponderable to ponder - just what I love.
