at my school a bee swarm happened

I hooked up a shop vac to a 55 gallon plastic barrel with a screw top and used a 20 foot long piece of abs plastic pipe and then vacuumed them up. I put a filter in the barrel so they don't get into the shop vac and it works great. I have done a dead bee count after I was finished relocating the hive and out of 20 pounds of bees only 150 bees were dead. Not too bad an average for 500,000 bees moved. My method is much safer than this but not as exciting.

I am just wondering why the swarm was removed? Didn't seem to be any harm..they were so high up in the tree?

bees are worth money to a beekeeper.
