  • how is it green? it looks like just an old gas powered car with a different body. looks like there needs to be a lot of thinking on this one. good luck.

  • @lsdesign It is green as a result of the aerodynamic efficiency of its shape and the use of light wieght fabrication materials resulting in it using a much smaller engine thereby conserving energy.Yes ,the 1st proof of concept is using a turbo charged gasoline engine directly out of an OEM.Reason being when the car goes to the salt Flats for the 150mph/150mpg Challenge we want to isolate and document the benefits of each idea implimented for its own merit. This is just the begining for the car.

  • I think fish/birds are more aerodynamic because of pointed front.

  • Actual tear drop are not pointy at front; they are pointy at rear. Hence they are not most aerodynamic, in my openion. This car is pointy at front, hence not fully tear drope shaped. Hence more aerodynamic than standard tear drop.

  • when we hear about some scandall story, the french man says: "cherchez la famme!" (search the woman!) And when we hear some wonderfull invention, so I must say about the team at least: "Cherchez l'Hongroise!" (search the HungARYAN!) God bless every good Hungarians of the World!

  • @paytontech Yes people need to sit back relax and pay attention to nature....it keeps telling us things ...but some of us just don't or won't listen.Once we learn to be in harmony with nature we will be waisting a lot less energy!

  • @Zoltanbod A flat plate is better than a box and a box is better than a tear drop. That's why sharks are shaped like boxes and tuna are shaped like flat plates... right?

    :-)

(yes of course it's a joke) Nature knows best and nature picks the tear drop when it wants speed with minimal energy wasted... just like this car.

  • @inagod Thanks!

  • @Zoltanbod your right a tear drop with a long rear,a full tear drop, not a half[cut in half] is super effiencent ,he's got the right shape,Craig Vetter does real world testing with little strips of yarn, taking a video of it at speed, any area's there not staying straight are problem area's.this guy with the box shape, needs to do his homework, you only have to look at the worlds fastest bicycle,at 82 mph,is a teardrop.
