Shelter Me has placed many (*but not all) of the Oxford cats seen in the video in barn homes. Before the ACO (animal control officer) in Oxford rescued them, these cats had a tough time scratching out an existence in a house with more than 30 other cats. The air smelled like ammonia; the house was infested with fleas and there was not enough for the cats to eat.

So, you might wonder how these cats are adjusting to healthy, new environments? The answer is extremely well.
