Oh! Excellent! It really makes one wonders whether Dio should have fired His band members in favour of DP...!!! :P

VERYY GOOOOD!!!

I really liked the bassoon on this. Steve Morse is great, but VC's solo was a distinctive part of this song.

@northernmanmn He left because Blackmore wanted to move out of the dragons/fantasy themed songs, Dio didn't like that. That's why after Dio's departure, Rainbow became a much more mainstream Hard Rock band, with singers that had a much more mainstream voice. I think it's Blackmore who didn't want all the attention to go to Dio...

@Hazybearable Blackmore never played this song anyway. Who cares?

Blackmore created Rainbow with Dio as the vocals, but Dio didn't like all the attention going to Blackmore, so he left Rainbow and it could never be the same band again. This isn't the band Rainbow, it's Deep Purple with Dio singing a Rainbow song. Rainbow was one of my favorite bands, on these Rainbow clips with Dio singing, people makes comments like their talking to Dio. He's dead, everyone in this world who is great at what they do dies and goes back to the dust from which we came.
