Pablo Sandoval, AKA the Panda hit his first Splash home run into McCovey Cove on 7/30/09 against the Philadelphia Phillies and it doing do almost hit my kayak. His HR landed maybe 3 feet from me. Now, almost 17 months from this first HR grab, I have been lucky to grab 3 more of his HR water-shots. It was an exciting day for me and I will forget the thrill of lifting up his ball from the water and yelling a few primal war cries! :)
@Coastergeekperson04 I had never heard of Dodger films until you told me. I checked out his films and plan to contact him. I have plans to have two cameras on me next year on my kayak. One on the front o my boat looking at me and one on my head looking forward or possibly one on a raised pvc pipe between me looking forward. Plus I always have the camera on the stadium watching me called the splash cam. I will be switching my baseball movies to one baseball only Youtube site. THX!!

Ever heard of dodgerfilms? You catch a ton of home runs... if you can manage to hold a camera while catching them, you can really have something going.

@Owenthefirebelly I have had to swim for two McCovey Cove HR's. For Splash HIt #55 that the PANDA his on 9/30/10, I was run over by another kayak and my only shot was to swim for it. Check out my video of that hit for some whitewater action. I also had to swim for a Carlos Beltran HR, his #298 career on 9/12/11. I got that ball too and 2 days later on 9/14/11, I was in the lucky spot for Beltran's career HR #300. GO GIANTS!!!!!!
