  • @whytemancanjump "why are caffeine infused energy drinks everywhere now?" Because they contain buzzwords like "ENERGY" and "MONSTER" and "gives you wings!!" and that draws attention....not because "addiction and sickness make money," that's why we have pill mills pumping out opiate derivatives, ADD medicines and antidepressants - THAT'S what makes money and that's what causes sickness and addiction.

  • @whytemancanjump >< Any learned athlete will tell you that all of this stuff is very personal. What works for one person may not work for another. If having coffee is your thing, and it works for you, and you're still able to practice high intensity training on a daily basis, eat well, and sleep 8 hours a night - then drink your damn coffee. Hell, if you smoke a joint every few days, or eat mushrooms and drop some LSD every few months it's not going to harm you.

  • @staratsx It sounds like you are trying to win an Iraq war here. Place 10 expert Medical Doctors within a room and they will not all agree on phases of a particular subject.. Coffee may have antioxidants in it, but you won't find many exercise coaches/trainers in the world who will suggest to have it as an exercise stimulant. If you gave me 4 - 6 coffees a day, I would not function the same way. Why are caffeine induced energy drinks everywhere now? Addiction and sickness makes money.

  • @whytemancanjump And I do hold a degree in chemistry, but that is not necessary to understand how drugs work. Most books about drugs that I've read are written in a very intelligible fashion where the average high school graduate can follow.

  • @whytemancanjump I don't have so much of a "point" as I do a goal. And that would be having you research and understand these terms you are using to prove YOUR point (i.e. poison, toxin, drug, coffee, victim, and "drug culture that is sweeping america.") All of these terms are loosely applicable to the sentences you have placed them in.

  • @staratsx Your'e right, I know nothing about drugs - I take none, and want nothing to do with them including alcohol. You know nothing as well unless you are a chemist, drug rehab officer etc. I am not sure what your point is, but coffee before exercise is not intelligent, and is not the choice of smart athletes. Have another Red Bull folks, it gives you wings!!

  • @whytemancanjump It doesn't sound like you know much about drugs, not to mention what makes them addictive. Some people enjoy drinking coffee before workouts and I don't fault them for it. Perhaps they would be better off without it, maybe your right. Coffee is pretty dense in antioxidants as well, and we certainly need free radical defense these days so if it comes in the form of coffee so be it. Peace & love

  • I always find it funny when People, just people in general, say this particular phrase " if you cannot pronounce the words on the label it is probably toxic to you " that and those phrases alike. I always retort with, well what if I can pronounce them ? I am excellent in comprehending what I read so where does that leave me and my body ? its such a stupid blanket statement. Rabble Rabble Rabble rabble.

  • I am a paul ckek follower so what can I say, the man is brilliant and I live for his teachings.

I worship his knowledge and his love for health and wellness as I am the same.
