Secure Facebook Profile from Public Search: Set all PRIVACY to ONLY FRIENDS

There has been news of the Iranian government using peoples Facebook Profiles to gather information. This is how to make that more difficult.

Set all the PRIVACY settings to ONLY FRIENDS

Anybody feel free to make a better version, especially if one in Farsi

If you believe you are in danger, please consider changing your name in your account so that there is no record of you that can be found. Also make sure your email address that is used for the account is an email that you do not use for anything else, or that has your name as part of the address.

Please be careful with your identity on all websites. Do not use your name as a username. Do not list your age. Do not use your photo. Do not accept friend requests from people you do not know.

in reality my friends the internet period has become a continuation of what has always been the fight to take,eastablish and keep control.it 's always been there the internet just makes it faster.governments,big business and private citizens can instantly take the pulse of the world.what you are thinking and feeling,trends.it can also be used to herd you in a particular direction.but the same things happen with newspaper,t.v. and radio CONTROL of you is the key.

Unwashed Brains is the new US society; paranoia deliberately spread upon pages of internet that is already increasingly being limited as to free flow of any information by ones own governemtn. Y do you think Facebook and U-tube were originated? They were originated to monitor the consumer society and then to sell such data to any Corporate and their political hacks. I think If I lived in a country that was under attack and threatened almost daily by Nuclear destruction by the leaders of Worlds most militarily aggressive power with a populace of deliberately ignorant as too its own leaderships agendas, I too would monitor events within that country.Facebook and U-tube are already heavily monitored & censored by US gov so whatever infor it can derive from mostly juvenile users who R no more than consumers of goods, ain't gonna help them one heck of a lot.
