Everyday I daydream that Jeff Goldblum will come to the store I work for, and just hang out for a while, and maybe do a little theatre. It sounds like so much fun!
This is closer to Amy Sedaris than Larry David. The winning quality is that it's got a "we're all simpletons on this bus" unreality. I think this is the kind of thing that should be produced for the future web: it's not a TV show, it's a new form, and as such is done with a different financial model. Video entertainment on the web in the future is not TV. TV is TV, and if the web contains original programming that's personal and idiosyncratic, that's a good future.
