@kattrin33 He meant that he thought if he put Laura in their debt then it meant Luke wouldn't harm Nikolas. That's not the only reason he wanted Laura in his debt - he wanted Laura to feel grateful to him so he could manipulate her, but it wasn't because he didn't think she was worthy of meeting Nikolas

It's pretty pathetic for Stefan to say he needed Laura to be indebted to his family in order for her to be worthy of having the opportunity to be w/Nicholas. What CRAP that is....
