  • chapman was apart of the seal team cunningham was on the rescue chopper.. but alot of seal teams and other sf teams use pj's due to there combat medic training.. there is nobody better trained to save a life in combat than a pj..

  • well vizcaya, since you sound so up to speed on the roberts ridge incident.... Actually, no, Jason was not part of the Seal team... I believe you are thinking of John Chapman, the Controller with Mako. Jason was part of the QRF package with the Ranger element that responded to Mako's helo getting shot down. His helo was also shot down, and due to his, and Kerry Miller's work, they saved several Ranger's lives that day.

  • what about Jason Cunningham? he was a pj and was attached to a seal team. they went down in a chopper crash in Afghanistan. they sent in to survey the valley below them suspected ot enemy movment, when they got there they found out the mountain was crawling with enemy. he lost his lifeon the mountain wiht the seal team he was with. can you explain this

  • When PJ's and CCT's are attached to an STS, they are apart of an STS, however they DO get sent out to work with ODA's and SEAL platoons..but whatever man you seem to be the resident expert on all things PJ and CCT...but you are misinformed if you are saying that they only work with each other in STS..if you need proof aside from all your knowledge on STT's...read Black Hawk Down..there were PJ's, CCT's, SEAL's, Rangers and Delta working there...but your right they don't ever work together.

  • oh, and u are correct about the CCT involvement with ODA's, so partial credit.

  • Just stop guy, you sound stupid to the people who actually know about these things, say for instance someone who actually is in the STS realm.

  • Actually yeah I know quite a few...CCT too that are attached to ODA's...attached with SEAL platoons also...so I'd say my facts are pretty straight.

  • lol, wow, u need to get ur facts straight buddy.... How many PJs do u know that are attatched to SF teams right now??? Special Tactics Teams..... i didnt know STS was running unilateral missions now... Look, appreicate the support, but your obviously mis-informed and not very intelligent.

  • Sgt. Timothy Wilkinson received the Air Force Cross for his efforts to rescue the crew of a downed UH-60 Blackhawk helicopter and a ground team near Mogadishu, Somalia, on Oct. 3, 1993. Sgt. Wilkinson, a pararescue specialist assigned to the 24th Special Tactics Squadron, volunteered to remain on the ground and repeatedly exposed himself to enemy fire during the 18-hour engagement.

  • Oh and Timothy Wilkinson was a PJ not a ranger
