John Paul Jones of Led Zeppelin on the organ playing "No Quarter." There is a spot of pitch blackness toward the beginning (fitting I suppose) where I was desperately trying to get a shot of JPJ and then probably passed out due to excitement. Don't fear, the video returns, this time with Warren Haynes in view. Goes through the first verse of the song.

Well, John Bonham used a double bass drum, it was not standar, look at Wikipedia:

"Bonham did not use a double-bass drum kit. He did once own one (it was featured in the demo "Communication Breakdown"), but it was removed from his kit by the rest of the band. John Bonham did play double bass drums while the band was touring with the band Vanilla Fudge."

You can also look at this pic:

I agree 100% drummers now have a tendancy to over drum. Also they think they are badass because they can use a double bass drum pedal.bohnam didn't need one.Ive heard drummers do solos that Bohnam couldnt touch(I think)but they still didnt sound as good.Nobody made the drums roar like Bohnam. He just made them crash.Neil pert is one who is compared to Bohnam alot.Pert is great but his drums sound flat to me.Bohnams sounded so big and full even when doing a simple beat

it's funny how john paul jones plays with all these drummers who are supposed to be technically better than Bonham but none of them can play like Bonham.

?uestlove sounded like shit trying too. This is better than that though
