@ComeHomeCatholics Did you know that there is now a burgeoning movement amongst protestants to extract as many as 20-28 books from the Catholic Bible!?
I have always suspected that this would be the next logical step when accepting sola scriptura. It's all quite insane, and yet, in the context of sola scriptura it makes sense for them to do so.
Sola Scriptura is all about personal opinion. And I would definately not agree that "most" protestants deny the perpetual virginity of Mary, I have not seen any statistics but based on the protestants I have had contact with I would say that the idea that Mary was not a virgin is a minority opinion.
