  • can you make a living handlining fish? have you thought about using fish traps? i havnt heard much about fish trapping, just know there are traps built to do it. my father has some shrimp traps that work pretty good. when fishing is good you can get on average 40-50 pounds a trap. a superior product, that is less harmful to the environment then trawling.

  • It's trawling and then oil drilling after that. With ITQs you end up with a few factory trawlers like now and with quota anyone touching a fish gets beat up by the fish police, heavily fined and then officially banned. Yeah. I wish! Thanks

  • Cape Sable Island is to the south of Nova Scotia while Cape Breton is toward the north part of the province. Thank you
