Note for people who say $200 is too much:

I got the iMac for $250. I got the eMac for about $200. They came with clean installations of Leopard, so no iLife or anything. While I've had them, I've added iLife '09 with iMovie HD '06 and Microsoft Office 2008 to both.

Those two suites alone cost more than you would ever really want to pay. Trust me, I really hate paying for them too. I'm glad the Mini came with iLife '09.

The eMac has more software since I've had it longer and it was my main computer for about a year. Some programs off the top of my head are Final Cut Express, ScreenFlow, World of Goo (also on iMac), AppZapper, Cro-Mag Rally, Enigmo 2, and EventBox. If you want the full list, email me and I'll send you the list.

So don't complain that $200 is too much - These are great machines that SHOULD be sold for WAY more. I have lowered them to $200 so they are more affordable for you. Think of the power ratio of the eMac to a common netbook. The eMac may have a slower clock speed than some, but it performs extravagantly better than ANY netbook. Same goes for the iMac. Plus, half-way decent netbooks are about $300. These are $100 less, are Macs, and are extremely better.

  • How much is the eMac for?

  • @colton101998 Same price, $200.

  • @GavinRoskamp How bout 150?

  • @colton101998 Ehh... I'm really looking for $200 since it's actually going to be put to good use today to replace an iMac G3. I'm thinking about taking down all the selling offers too, because if it works great for what I need it to do today, I won't have it anymore. I'll let you know after today whether or not everything materializes.

  • @GavinRoskamp 175?

  • @colton101998 Sorry, I've got it being put to good use now. Taking down the selling videos as soon as I find time.

  • £0.1p For Both!

  • omfg you posted this video on my birthday

  • just got an emac for 43 us dollars

  • I recommend taking a look at the downloadable text file in the description that has more information. Yes, they both run Leopard though they can run Panther or Tiger if you wish. Both being PowerPC G4s, neither can run Snow Leopard. Neither have internal bluetooth or wireless but both have the capability to if you buy an Airport card. You can also look for Wireless USB solutions for Mac on eBay and find some cheap dongles that work with Mac.
