(Part 1 of 2)
Members of the Pittsburgh Grotto led a trip to Harlansburg cave during the Butler Outdoor Club Memorial Day Extravaganza, 2008. Harlansburg cave is formed in a horizontal layer of Vanport limestone with a sandstone cap. Many fossils are found inside this cave, along with an abundance of mud. Persons venturing into caves should be aware of safety issues of pursuing such activities and it is recommended to find reliable sources of information. Your local NSS affiliated grotto could help you get started.

Great caving video. "Reality caving" I'd call it.
