@preayas He was a slave to the Sh'iar. Became an X-men. Betrayed by Xavier. Came back for revenge on both. Was willing to kill anyone in his path. Took over the Shi'ar and started a massive war with the Kree/Inhumans. He became corrupt, selfish and arrogant. He's also an omega-level mutant, which just fed his arrogance. At his base level, he let himself become a bad person.
