For my 2010 I Think I Can Campaign for At the Crossroads I decided to grow my hair out and donate my lovely locks to charity. For every $100 I raised I allowed my hair to grow out another week and at the end of all the fundraising I would cut it all off and donate it -- my first time doing so.
In all I raised $1671 from 30 donations and my hair grew for more than 4 months! The money will go directly to help At the Crossroads youth outreach program - a non-profit that I have been volunteering with for over 2 years now and truly believe in their mission and their staff.
Thank you to everyone that donated and everyone that supported me. A special thanks also to Kelle Schlax at Ginger Rubio in SF for the awesome free haircut!!!
