i realllllly didnt want to compare the two... but after watching this video for the millionth time, i just had to. as good as Fantasia is, it is just nearly impossible to compete with jeannette. this has got to be my favorite version, byfar.

She has the voice.. she has been trained.. thus the technique.. it is obvious. Now I can't understand when an honest comparison is made..why some people think..it is hate against the other artist. It is an opinion. There will always be one greater that he other. Beyonce makes millions of dollars. Beyonce does not have half the range of this girl. We all have our gifts and there are things we are not so good at.

Jeannette, all I can say is wow. She fully captures the emotion of this song. When she sings, "lovin' who i really am!", it makes me tear up. He voice has such power and tone. I can listen to this performance over and over again without getting bored. She is by FAR the best Celie, and maybe the best color purple cast member there has been. Fantasia does not even compare. Fantasia is GREAT, but Jeannette is indescribable. When she sings, "with all the love alive in me," it is just beautiful.

That was a beautiful performance but to whomever said that fantasia cant do that... UR LYING. FANTASIA'S LIVE VOICE AND RADIO VOICE IS TOO MUCH FOR THESE WANNA BE ARTIST LIKE KEYSHIA COLE.... IM TIRED OF PPL TRYNNA DISS MY GIRL LIKE SHE CAN'T SANG KUZ IN OTHER VIDEOS SHE TORE THAT DAMN SONG UP!!!....... AND STOP COMPARING HER TO JHUD.. THEY BOTH CANT BLOW... REAL HARD!!!!!!
