  • you guys this was PRERENDERED, they said so.

    BUT! it was prerendered based off the graphical abilities of the ps3.

    you see now that we've settled down and people know how to program for it, this type of graphics are very possible for the ps3

    the ultimate limiting factor is the programers and what they are willing to create.

    if everyone had unlimited resources, they would probably use the best physics and the best vehicles they had in their games, but they dont.

  • I still enjoy this trailer more than the actual game.

  • It is possible for the character rig of the helghast falling over the rail to accicentally "get stuck" in collision objects and dangle over the edge like that in real-time. It is most likely scripted to happen though, they did not run this over and over to get that to happen. The whole thing is scripted as in pre-render, but then rendered in-game with the real-time engine. So yes AND no ... it was a real-time engine but scripted and pre-rendered with that engine.

  • Looks more like the first game because of the way it zooms in instead of using the sights. Did we ever find out wether it was pre-rendered or not?

  • (cont.) when the helghast hangs over the rail, then falls, that would never happen in game, and the camera moves way differently then it does in the normal game...

  • Well it's not real gameplay, but it's not prerendered either... The game engine could easily manage this. But it certainly isn't gameplay because well the helghast
