RockStar Energy Drink UPROAR tour- Halestorm (New Jersey, 8/29)

Oh my god, what a show. It was SO worth the wait for seeing Avenged Sevenfold and Disturbed last. But also we got clips of the other bands playing on the main stage.
So as some of you know, I live in New York. (not New York city though) and this sucker was ALL the way in New Jersey (PNC Art Center), it was a good 2 hour drive to the place with my Aunt and Uncle. (my uncle was going insane about "Double Rainbow" the time driving to there but that's another story) The thing stated at 3 but we got there at 5 when things "cooled off" but it was still increasingly hot. And of course we got lawn tickets on a hill.... so it didn't really help us because we were on a slant most of the time.
We got a few songs out of Halestorm (my uncle thought the lead singer was a boy XDD) they were, O.K. I mean I liked some of there songs they played but it was really cool! Well... not as cool as Disturbed and Avenged Sevenfold but oh well!
Anyway! Things REALLY kicked up for Stonesour- who was next to play. Apparently there lead singer is the lead singer from the band called Slipknot. But to me, the guy looked like he was the lead singer of Primal Fear! lol Also Stonesour played a lot of Speed Metal. And of course, when there's any form of Metal... there's Mosh Pits! I literally could look around the hill and see all the dirt from the mosh pits fly up into the air. X3 It was cool because one was RIGHT in front of us. (and so was a cat fight, which I also witnessed with my Sister and my Aunt) All the metal Stonesour played got the the crowd active for the next performance, Avenged Sevenfold.
Avenged Sevenfold had a cool beginning act along with a following song. They stared with the song "Nightmare" which I was excited to see live because of the doll on a goose neck falling from the stage, then following into the song. It was crazy. You could head people singing along to the songs, watching the dirt flying into the air as the evil song blasted the whole area. it was insane. The next song started with M.Shadows giving a little "talk" in beginning about anyone being new and giving the new ones- like me- a "Welcome to the Family" lol. That was also a good song. But one song they played that I went FANATIC about, was "God Hates Us" I personally like the song for the beat and how they put the song together. But they lit the gate on FIRE!!!!(If you didn't guess from my Fan-Character, Nightmare. I am a HUGE pyro manic) Another song- well thing Avenged Sevenfold did was make a little "moment" for 'The Rev'. It was cute. All over we lit our Zippo Lighters and But I sang my heart out and almost ran out of energy for Disturbed.
Disturbed, Disturbed, Disturbed.... Oh My God.... the BEST show ever! They started with "Remnants" into "Asylum". Then lead into "The Game" (I wish I recorded that because that one was THE BEST!!!!) They also played songs like "Inside the Fire", "Voices", "Another Way to Die". I liked "The Game" because the screen had a blood splatter and all. But before
that, Me and my Sister were stuck behind 3 (i think) older kids. It was Annoying... until this younger couple gave us there spots so we got the gate spots which as awesome!!! ^^ After we got them David sang "Indestructible" and at the end we all Chanted "USA" for our army. Then they left the stage for 5 seconds before the encore. The last one they played was Down with the Sickness. the WHOLE crowd was singing, jumping, pumping there fist! and we showed the sign of, Ten Thousand Fist in the Air!!!!

holy crap, is this at tinly park, i had grass seats to that. damn that whole concert rocked singer of slipknot, halestorm, AVENGED SEVENFOLD, DISTURBED THEY all fucking rocked, wish the concert had been longer though

@katied97 I'm almost sure it was Shadows... but i dunno. Anyway, my favorites were probably A7X and Halestorm. I've been a big fan of A7 for a while to seeing them live was amazing. Halestorm, never heard of them before then, but I really liked them and I even ended up getting their album the other day. Which I've been listening to nonstop. Disturbed and Hail the Villian (early, on the small stage) were really good also.

i loved Disturbed's and Avenged Sevenfold's performance. they were both really good! you?

I was at the same concert. On the lawn, front and center. It was pretty awesome. And mosh pits kept forming right in front of me. And then of course, M.Shadows told everyone to start a circle pit... right where i was standing. I had to back up quick cuz I did not want to get run over! Lol.
