@VerifiedNews - FRN;s are debt instruments, a promise to pay, a NOTE, so tell me, how do you PAY a debt with a debt ? You really cannot PAY and are not paying, just increasing the so called National debt. Sam as right on target. There is no money and nothing to pay with.

I think he's stretching HJR quite a bit. Some other things too. It says you can't make a contract requiring payment of a particular form a currency. All that means is that you can't require someone to pay in any particular currency/coin.

You still have to pay. Makes his whole argument, which is pretty good, sort of weak. If he'd just be straight on that HJR thing it would add credibility in my opinion.
