Police checkpoint outside my house.
8 / 04 / 2010 | 12.30am to 2am

Got home from watching the rugby in Hamilton and found the police setting up a Compulsory Breath Test Checkpoint outside my house.
Stood around watching from set-up at around 12.30 till pack-up at around 2am.
It was a successful night with a few people needing to be picked up and some even sent to court.

At least that cop didn't ping that man for breaching his restricted. I was always sketchy about driving at night, because the cops are bound to check you for your license if it is not busy

The NZ police are very ineffective in picking up DIC: however, this is not their role.

MOT took over the police and now NZ has an American type police force with all show and little credibility. True policing is of course show but they use informers and spies: the NZ police has lost all this due to "police traffic cops" causing top policemen to lose their jobs and the public lack of confidence. This is Political and need addressing by politicians in NZ.
