Recorded on a 4-track Tascam cassette PortaStudio, a first-generation DX-7 and the first Yamaha drum machine they sold. Bob McDonald provided the ambient guitar work. Stuart Nyren provided the nice drum programming. Thanks guys!

  • Which Portastudio are you using on this recording? Sounds pretty good!

  • It was a Tascam PortaStudio 244 made around 1982. It was very easy to use and had a good sound. Made by Teac I believe.

  • I love this - you are so talented! The turtles are also very awesome! ( I always thought I'd see you again....)

  • Fire and Rain is such a sad song, and it usually makes me cry. You put a whole new twist on the song that was upbeat and toe tapping. I truly enjoyed it!!

  • Wow, I thought you were gonna say it was one of the later models. Sounds great!

I like the arrangement, too. Niiiiice. ;)

  • Nice. Feel of Michael Franks
