Everyday is 23% tax day under the "Fair" Tax aka National Sales Tax Inclusive aka NASTI. It is NOT just tax at retail, it's 23% on EVERYTHING "new"-- medical bills, utility bills, gas, rent, all interest (including mortgage interest), et cetera ad nauseum.
Their own research shows that those making from $15k to $150k a year would pay more than they do now in federal taxes under this foolish tax, while those making more than $150k a year would pay much much less.
It is a bad idea like 999.
