Miss Galvin's Fling

Miss Galvin's fling is a lovely 16-bar tune, similar to a barndance or hornpipe. As I understand it, the (Irish) fling as a dance form is a couple dance, more similar to a barndance or schottische than to the Scottish performance piece known as the (Highland) Fling. Definitive recordings include Jack and Charlie Coen (1976) and Mary Bergin (1993).

This is the 45th tune of "the Hornpipe Project 2010", and though I'm perhaps cheating by including first barn dances, and now a fling, I thank you for listening.
