Michigan facemask's Michigan State's Edwin Baker obvious call but no penalty 2010

Sideline ref has a clear view as Baker gets facemasked by Michigan at the line of scrimmage. It doesn't get much more obvious. No penalty on U-M. Baker still picks up 7 yards.

...More indisputable video evidence of preferential treatment awarded to the kicking, punching, clotheslining, facemasking, and helmet stripping fortunate sons in yellow and navy. No penalties called against U-M on any of these plays.

How would the ref to his left see the facemask that was on the right side?

Really?! I think NOT! Had the refs called the backward pass a fumble like it was and awarded U of M the ball because they picked it up (you know, according to actual game rules) thus stoppng MSU's scoring drive, & had U of M been rewarded a 1st down they clearly made, instead of Spartan's D being rewarded for a stop they didn't make, the score likely would have gone to 21 (U of M) to 14 (MSU) & MSU's last TD never happens because U of M would have kept the ball in Denard's hands!

I think the facemask was called here, they just didn't get the flag right away. Anyway, let's not be like scUM fans and complain about dirty plays going unpunished. Our team is not dirty. They played aggressively and gholston did some thuggish things, but we were the ones penalized, so why is Michigan complaining? If it weren't for the penalties, MSU could have won more field position and TOP battles and blown Michigan out.

@jlemons9000 ??? I am an electrical engineer. I suppose I could work on trains (had a train set as a kid). I actually work for a major corporation so I don't see how I'd be blaming them for anything. On the 8-4 season, I actually believe you might be close there. Both MSU and UM could end up at 8-4 or 9-3. Not sure where all the sarcastic hate is coming from but maybe we should focus on the football? BTW, doubt the Boise State v. MSU game will look as bad as UM v. Bama. Just my prediction
