Awesome... I would like to live around the world hehe in a sailboat... have u ever thought about high self sufficiency?
Do you think it would be feasible for a chef sailor to grow most if not, some time in the future, all its food on board? :)
I think it would be a new perspective on freedom heh... you sail around the world?

question: how many watts is your air pump. and what kind of a plug do u hav on the reservoir pipe n bottom?

Don't know the wattage of the air pump... 120v. however. The plug on the end of the reservoir is a common pvc pipe plug. I installed it anticipating that I would need access to the reservoir for cleaning. I've never taken it off. I would suggest doing without the plug and saving 30 dollars.

cool man, thx for the reply. how do u make electricity on that boat, mate? gas generator? a wind turbine would be sweet... i havent messed with them tho... yet:) also, does the bleeder activate automatically from air pressure, to let the water drain back down, or is it on a timer? thx again. take care.

We have an air-marine wind genny and solar panel. The bleeder is always open but not enough to effect the aeration of the plants. Just enough so the water will drain.
