I put in a few screw-ups on purpose so I wouldn't have to deal with endless ZOMG FAKE comments :-D. I included all the relevant information on how to reproduce the tone and effects in the description below.

The pitch shifter effect on Ballerina 12/24 was recorded direct from the g-major effects unit since I can't reproduce it well enough with what I have offline. From there I just switched on the lead channel via a MIDI controller and launched into Liberty!

TONES:

Triaxis is stereo out to G-Major stereo in
G-Major is stereo out to EDIROL UA-1000 stereo in on 7-8 inputs
EDIROL UA-1000 stereo 7-8 inputs are sent through Voxengo PristineSpace using "Centre -1 bottom speaker" impulse from GuitarHack's "Louder JJ Powertube Impulses Full Set Straight" impulse collection (google it - easy to find).
After Voxengo there is a high-pass filter at 120 Hz to cut the lows out from the guitar and then a stereo reverb plugin from Cakewalk to give it some space.

Clean:
Triaxis: RHY GREEN, GAIN 3.5, TREB 10, MID 5.0, BASS 2.0, MASTER 3.0, PRES 7.0, DV 0.0, FX LOOP ON
G-Major: Compressor: Thresh -13 dB, Ratio: 4.0:1, Attack 2.0 ms, Release 300 ms, Gain 2 dB Pitch: Subtype Shifter, Voice1 900cent, Voice2 500 cent, Pan1 50L, Pan2 50R, Dly1 96 ms, Dly2 192 ms, FB1 0%, FB2 0%, Level1 0 dB, Level2 0dB, Mix 62%, OutLev 0 dB Reverb: Subtype Plate, Decay 2.1 s, PreDly 20 ms, Shape Round, Size Huge, HiCol Clear, HiFact 15, LoCol Tight, LoFact 0, RoomLv -5 dB, RevLev -7 dB, Diffus 0, Mix 30%, OutLev 0 dB

Lead:
Triaxis: LD2 GREEN, GAIN 9.0, TREB 6.5, MID 9.0, BASS 1.0, LD2 DRIVE 8.0, MASTER 8.0, PRES 5.0, DV 0.0, FX LOOP ON

  • What video recording software did you use? Did you record the audio separately and then remix it, or did you strip the audio from the recording, process it, and then remix it? Thanks

  • @zillathegorilla The guitar track is what you see me playing. I never do dubs or re-records. The audio was recorded separately but simultaneously with the video. I don't use the camera's audio track for anything except the final sync where I line up the final audio mix with the video clip.

  • @zillathegorilla I have a camcorder that records direct to its internal hard drive in MPEG-2 format. A JVC Everio HDD 20GB.

  • Wow amazing..thanks for sharing....can you tell me where you learn't it?.....tab?..how do i learn to play that please

  • @hitinoqa12 Thank you! I learned it mostly by ear actually. I don't have any tab to give you.

  • @hitinoqa12 Oh, and... one note at a time :)

  • I can't belive that that intro come from your guitar

  • @amarsero LOL! That's what I thought when I first dialed in the pitch shifter settings. I always thought it was some crazy overdubs on the track.
