I've only ever seen and heard of The Sooty Show intro by the painting scene but the rest, although old, are still new to me. Thanks muchly for uploading the jazzy version too; that one's brilliant! :D

@kiltsonfire164 Nah the episodes are owned by Fremantle Media...you can find a list of episodes on the Fremantle Archive sales website.

@sooteries2 @sooteries2 I'm pretty sure that Freemantle Media own the rights to all the series featured in this video (The Sooty Show is part of the Thames Television library) Richard Cadell owns the character names and concept of the show, which means he is the only one who can make future shows. Then the rights to Sooty and Co are owned by ITV (as it's part of the Granada Television library)

i wish HIT could release the sooty show episodes from the mid-1970's with matthew's earlier episodes but i think ITV wiped the master tapes. :(

Richard Cadell now owns the rights to Sooty now. Just like the Corbett family before him. So any decision to release a season set of any Sooty series will have to show a big demand as it costs thousands to make DVD's without the backing of the giant Hit Entertainment (who was doing almost nothing with Sooty)
