i am thinking of buying the Panasonic TH-L37DT30A can you watch tv innormal 2D or does it have to be 3D all the time?
-
@Unclesamslair ha...exactly what I experienced at a local cinema...my first 3D movie experience
It's an interesting technology but what I would like is (am)oled screens at better prices and mainstream.

@Cruzito2008 I have panasonic 3D tv and the picture quality is fab but it has many problems, the glasses are horrible and the ir signal from the TV sync for the 3D glasses are making my sky HD remote control not working. Panasonic costumer service do not want to listen to the problems people are complaining about.
SO my advise is to buy another brand than panasonic, I would if I was to buy me a 3D tv today.

Sorry everyone but Please read this threats before you buy this TV .
I bought Panasonic 3D tv and there are many problems vith the TV and nobody from the panasonic costumer service is willing to reply to solve this problems or other problems with the TV, both the 3Dglasses are CRAP and also there is a huge problem with the ir sync signal for the 3D glasses to work consulting other remotes you use, like the SKY HD remote go to AV forums to see all the complains about panasonic 3D TV's

@cp120x nah man u cant upgrade an older model to 3D you have to buy a new one... if i were you i would go with the Panasonic or the Sony

If you attach a computer to your Panasonic 3D, you can enhance HDTV using iMax, Quicktime plugins, or graphic programs to bring out a more realistic view. Incorporating several programmers to write the scripts, you certainly can go where ever you want to with Panasonic.
I also respect Panasonic for their FullHD 3D. It was really stunning to see. And I saw also the Samsung 3D, which is far behind Panasonic' quality. Thats why BEST in SHOW winner is Panasonic. It was a clear choice :)
