  • @maersklandro dude thank you very much for your reply. I put just motor oil 5w:30 in there like the old honda manual says to do. that is probably my issue. I need to put Genuine Honda MTF in there I suppose.

  • Because of transmission losses. Gearbox internal friction bleeding torque from the input shaft to the output shaft despite no actual mechanical connection between the two in Neutral.

    I'd look into an oil change, pronto. That much spin is indicative of poor oil, low oil level &/or gearbox wear (the needle bearings the pinions roll on).
