In this lesson you will learn how to ask people their nationality.

(Note: Jah-Pohn (Japanese) is more commonly used than Jee-Pohn (Japanese). I didn't write it in Khmer while making this video. I don't want to remake this video.)

  • What is the annoying background noise?

  • It's my digital camera lens. I had to hold up the camera with one hand and use the other hand to teach. It's the only camera I have. I can't hold the camera still. sorry if it's annoying.

  • soo cute your voive in khmer languag

  • you sound like you hate teaching lol

  • Sure it is straightforward, but as an absolute beginner I would ask: why include letter(s) when they aren't spoken. Like: jeat, pronounced as jea.

    Is it to differentiate words?

  • Where did you get the translation for the word American? I never knew it as 'Ah-Gairng' I only heard either 'A-me-ric' or 'A-me-ric-Kairng'. just wondering...Keep going u r doing a great job.
