  • Crown Xti 2000 was our choice because it gave a very clean sound at 475 watts.

  • Actually pretty easy. We just take the audio output of our sound engine (rca jacks) and go into a power amp (we used a Crown amp) then connect the amp to the existing Rodgers speakers through the original Rodgers crossovers.

  • Is there still the limitation of some ranks only being availible tremmed?

  • @The2010SnowDay No, all ranks are now available both tremmed and untremmed with the exception of the English Posthorn which should really never have a tremulant.

  • What model crown amp did you use and why?

    What is its output?

  • Next time please include more about the amplifier and how to connect it to the old speakers.

  • I never thought it was THAT easy! Wow.

  • Great Video Mark

  • Mark, this is an excellent video to show how easy it is to use the Artisan Micro MIDI boards and Input boards. I would like to suggest a slightly more technical video to show that the input boards can be used with either a plus, minus or ground keying common by the simple setting of a jumper on the board. I would also suggest that some comments about how easy the Micro MIDIs are to program and load using the Micro MIDI Configuration Program.

  • Thank you Mark in every way for making this video of the Rodgers Trio conversion. Now the masses of people who own instruments like this can see that it is possible to give new life to an old instrument. Mine is coming along and I can't wait to play it.
