  • doesn't lexus and hyundai already have this?

  • Yes and no. This technology is preparatory to Volvo. Most char manufacturers are developing or have developed something similar but Volvo's system is unique to Volvo. My aim in posting this is too educated and show people how Volvo have been working the technologies.

  • For all you people that think this system was developed by Mercedes, you're wrong. Mercedes and other systems can slow the car down during cruise control, but don't actually stop the car for you. This was all Volvo.

  • volvo has always been a pioneer in safety. they are the first and the only car company that test not only nomral puppies but with "pregnant" puppies. i think thats important

  • @nikjmiles

    LEXUS may be soon,

but for HUNDAY your save is peap the same ! go die after pay they bill !

  • Or you could pay attention.

  • veryy good cars man

  • 40 km/h

  • At how many kmh's per hour?

  • the gap that it leaves between the front end and the obstacle could be smaller. That wuld mean less chances to be hit by another car, it also could activate hazard lights automaticaly

  • Wrong

  • That's just adaptive cruise control. Very different.
