The Craic in Melbourne!
The Corkman bar in Melbourne, Australia hosts one of the best sessions outside of Ireland.
The irish music scene in Melbourne is thriving and the reason that this particular night was so lively was on account of it being the 3rd anniversary of the death Billy Moran, the man who by all accounts brought traditional music to Australia !!
Fair play to the man, ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam..

Great session led by the Fitzgerald brothers from Clare whom have taken Billy's baton and continue holding fantastic sessions of music in The Corkman of a Thursday eve and 'The Quiet man' of a Sunday.
I was lucky to be here, mind you I was staying upstairs in their backpackers hostel, so maybe just lucky to catch the night that was in it.
Excuse the camerawork (it was hard to keep still!)
Starts with Belfast Martin having already begun his slow piece- 'Eamon an Chnoic'

Enjoy..
