I had to give you this line that Zvex put up on their site.... Congratulations, you must be insane. Even I don't know how to use this pedal.

It certainly is one of the crazier pedals I have had the pleasure of plugging up. You are basically getting a Zvex Fuzz Factory with an Antenna Plate mounted on plexi glass. The antenna creates a radio frequency field around the plate, which can then be manipulated with your foot or hand or whatever other appendage you want to put near it. The plate is connected to the Stability knob.... so, the probe will adjust the Stab knob from wherever it is set, upward toward the most clockwise position as you get closer to the antenna. So, you will get more modulations the lower you set the Stab knob. If you turn the Stab knob all the way up, you won't get anything when you move your foot toward the plate.

Now, I think Zvex is underrating himself when he says you're insane for grabbing one of these :) This pedal can actually be quite musical. The fourth setting I put the pedal on gives you something that sounds like a cross between a Wah and a Phaser. It definitely does not modulate your tone just like either of those pedals, but it does sound awfully damn similar. And even if it wasn't musical, what guitarist doesn't just love to make some crazy, ear piercing noise on stage from time to time? Look at Matt Bellamy of Muse.... he has a fuzz factory built right into his guitar and he just LOVES to make noise with it.
