So all this time we've been the victims of a massive propaganda campaign waged by Bush administration and the Pentagon against the American public, aided by the mass complicity and complacency of the mainstream media? I guess that explains quite a bit - glad I never bought any of it to begin with.

It'll be interesting to see what sort of ripples, if any, this causes. Probably it'll just be buried under the never ending stream of imaginary campaign gaffes and memes...

Seriously. Is there ANY accountability to be had anywhere for ANY of these people? And no, losing a few hundred thousand dollars in government contracts or your face time with the jackass in the Oval Office or your place on the 6 o'clock news doesn't count as being held accountable; I'm talking investigations and possibly prosecutions.

Accountability to who - they're all in on it. We're screwed; actually it's only the people who aren't blinded by the lies who are screwed. The rest of the 'public' will go about their 'business' as usual.

As if it would've mattered anyway, eh? Hell, Fox News does that kind of propaganda work on a volunteer basis already. ;)

I'm not sure if i'd go that far. Sure Bush has a propaganda machine, just like anybody else does, but I'd argue Bush's PR guys are idiots. The public perception of his presidency is ruined.

Plus, plenty of mainstream media outlets were obviously against the war. NYT, CNN, both obviously anti-war. Fox News was obviously pro-war. That's the state of affairs with us today, is we're regressing to the old days of explicitly partisan news.

Thanks for getting this on the tubes. The entire expose is just amazing, though not surprising.
