    it moves because the director wanted the eggs in this movie to be more organic, not robotic like in the other movies. i think that was a bad idea because the aliens are supposed to be biomechanical, not fully organic. you could use the excuse that because the aliens have some of ripley's DNA that they became more organic, but i think its just kind of stupid... Resurrection was a bad movie anyway IMO lol
