I was a senior aircraft engineer when I decided to come home to raise and home school my children. Public and private schools are both horrible. Teachers have no control over the children and are asked to teach in environments that don't foster learning. I am so pleased with our homeschool groups and our homeschool friends. I am also pleased with the remarkable progress we have made in our homeschooling. My children are not suffering in any way, but are blooming under homeschooling.

The public school teachers reign of tyranny is almost at an end. Now that we have the internet we no longer need your schools. Your thought control and barbaric social structuring is obsolete. You force children into dangerous situations both dangerous physically and extremely detrimental to mental health for your pleasure of being in control. People are growing up with PTSS because of your schools and it must stop. You fail children who are intellectuals and pass ones who just know how to study

@davidadamsawyer -- So, I would actually go with you on that point. I think bullying in public schools is a HUGE problem, but it's one that can very easily be fixed by vigilance of both the parents, teachers and the child being bullied. The parents of the kids who are bullying need to be put on notice or have the children REMOVED from the school so children aren't harmed by bullies. Home-schooling isn't an answer for it though, because the child will never learn valuable coping skills.

@davidadamsawyer -- Kids are bullied to the point of suicide is due to the preposterous religious beliefs of hate-mongering religious parents who teach their children to bully because the vast majority of children who commit suicide, do so because they're gay and because they'd rather DIE than have to live with the repressive and destructive Christian and Muslim beliefs that tell society that there's something wrong with being gay. But to suggest that public schools cause bullying is silly!

@davidadamsawyer -- Can you give an example of what's 'dangerous' about public schools in the US? Granted, there are some inner city schools that can be dangerous because of where they're located, but can you provide an example of this 'hurt and pain' that public schools provide?

What does this 'hurt and pain' look like? Is it children with black eyes? Stomach aches?

Are you starting to see why a rational person like me thinks you're such a FOOL!?

@davidadamsawyer -- What's an 'unhealthy' social skill that public schools teach that home-schooling doesn't? This is EXACTLY what I mean. You just make ridiculous comments but can't provide any valid reason for them. Were you by chance home-schooled yourself? Is that why your attempts at having a debate with me on this subject have failed so miserably? It's starting to sound like your ignorance is getting in the way of allowing you to come up with any reason for your looney position.

@davidadamsawyer -- HAHA!! Just as I thought: You can't come up with any valid reason to support your claim about public schooling vs. home-schooling. You're just like all the rest of the 'home-school' crowd. Unable to provide a valid reason why home-schooling is better. You should just realize that merely SAYING that home-schooling is better for kids doesn't make it so.

I'd be willing to listen, however, you can't come up with a SINGLE valid reason.

@davidadamsawyer -You just don't like hearing what I'm saying because you KNOW it's true and you know that home-schooled kids are being abused. If I had my way, the parents would be neutered or their tubes tied and go to prison for child abuse! Teaching children to be anti-social and reject the world makes them miserable and depressing human beings. Their only happiness in life is this delusional idea of 'eternal salvation' or Heaven or other such religious nonsense and they reject themselves 2!

@davidadamsawyer --Actually, you're wrong. I have seen first hand what happens when children who were home schooled try to attend college. 2 of my best friends had born-again parents who taught them the most unbelievable bunch of NONSENSE, all of which was 100% false! They had to re-learn most of their Science subjects because they were taught that Adam & Eve was actually true, and because the damage was so bad, they tend to believe their stupid parents rather than accept reality. It's very sad!

@davidadamsawyer -- Really? How so? How does homeschooling teach children to 'think outside the box'? Can you give me an example? How could homeschooling possibly surpass the level of exposure to different types of people that public shoals do? Homeschooling parents teach their children to BE prejudiced towards those they hate, just like they are, which is really one of the worst forms of child abuse.

You'd be surprised how many home-schooled kids have been taught evolution is a 'lie'!

@davidadamsawyer -- Going to a place to learn about the culture is far different than being around the people of that culture for 8 hours a day and learning how to socialize and get along with them. The vast majority of all parents who homeschool do so for religious reasons, so we end up with a nation full of Jesus freaks who know nothing about Science and the world around them. Their parents teach them to reject the Truth that is Science and put religious superstition in it's place.
