1. Who Is the True Israel? Who is the True Jew?

Lecture by John Otis. This session begins to discuss the following critical topics to eschatology: Who is the true Israel? Who is the real Jew? In this lecture, Pastor Otis, gives the exegetical basis for rejecting the Dispensational Premillennial idea that God has two distinct peoples in history, the Jews and the church. In refutation of this, he shows how the church of the New Testament is the true Israel of God and that the church is the true seed of Abraham.

Esau was soul led, he gave it all up for eating and drinking, couldn't get it back when he realised what he had done because he gave authority to his soul rather than the spirit. Ishmael was soul led his rewards were physical soul led nations not spritiual.

that's why He's coming like a "Thief" in the night because He is coming to rob the people that think they are true believers but who never really were as they remained soul led and did not really yield to the authority of the spirit. These people really believe that they are saved and so think that salvation is rightfully theirs and Jesus is going to rob them of what they think is theirs but is not.

@Robbi165 Not to mention I believe that at the end of the age their will be a big Jewish conversion to Christ. A large amount of Ethnic Jews will convert to Christ. However I truly believe those who are not believing in Christ are not going to be saved....

@Robbi165 Robbi.... *sigh* We don't hate jews for one. The Modern day Jewish system is a man made system that can save no one. Just because you are born into a jewish family gives you know salvation. Their is only one salvation and it is Christ. Just because we don't say that the Jews are going to heaven or are the people of God doesn't mean we hate them. I don't hate muslims, even though I tell them unless they convert to Christ they will go to hell and they are not the chosen people of God.

It's amazing to me how everybody wants to be the Jews, but yet nobody wants to learn Hebrew, wear Tallitot, prayer shawls, keep the Sabbath, observe the Feasts, eat biblically clean foods...and yet they're teaching a false doctrine of "Replacement Theology" that replaces all of these things of God thru Man-Made Doctrines. And if the Jews aren't really God's People, but the Christians are, then why do the Christians hate the Jews??
