Doctor Who "Power of the Daleks" Scene Recon II

A reconstructed missing scene from Power of the Daleks, created using two existing telesnaps as a basis to make it as true to the original screen material as possible, with the addition of my 3D Dalek and motion added to the Doctor and Ben.

Out of interest, how long did this take to make?

Hard to estimate, but it took about two weeks working most days after work, although sometimes I'd only get a few minutes done, or occasionally I spent the whole evening on it.

Hi, listen i my self am a video editor but unfortunately do not have enought spare time for this sought of thing while making the dvd's of these stories so when i find things like this, it's just a gem.

Rest assured that i will use this in the dvd and you will be credited.

and thanks for the clip of ben flipping the switch i did not even know that clip existed so i will use that also in the animation free copy.

I know the best way to redo this but it would be expensive and time consuming..what you do is re-film new actors miming (but acting well) to the original soundtrack.. but here is the brilliant bit.. all the actors would be wearing prosthetics to look like the original actors.. then finally the whole thing is rotoscoped in full colour exactly like the film "A Scanner Darkly". Have a look at clips of the film "A scanner darkly" and compare that in stlye to "telesnaps".
