I think getting out that far is a bit rough a little bit tougher as the player can move you back quicker, though I might just like my 3 feet out of the crease rule down here in TX, so no one teaching that down in the south here.

you hear something different from many people, I have seen many intructional videos that state the goalie should only come out approx 4 ft in front of the "paint". Is this simple brodeur bashing or fact? You mention children learning in your video but the majority of goalie kids would never be able to match the incoming speed of the player skating backwards in full goalie gear if they started from the hash marks, how ridiculous

@TheGoalieGuru no how can a goalie move backwards at the same speed as a offensive player moving forwards, defense men cant even do that let alone a goalie

do any of your videos show NHL goalies making proper plays to "teach" to the "boys and girls" you keep mentioning in your vids? Have you thought professionals? You show what not to do, what about proper plays? You do realize there is no perfect "style" correct? If they never made errors most NHL games would end in an infinite tie.

@eDAWGBrantford You can't learn from video? What do you think most pro video sessions consist of? Watching all the good things they have do all the time. Or do they have some video to point out the bad stuff to learn from?
This video is a teaching tool.
Not "errors", they are technical mistakes that repeat.
